UUM ONLINE: Indonesia - Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) through its School of Technology Management and Logistics (STML) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Bandung Islamic University (UNISBA), recently.
UUM was represented by the Assistant Vice-Chancellor of UUM COB, Prof Dr Rushami Zien Yusoff and UNISBA was represented by its Deputy Rector, Prof Dr Harits Numan Djaohari signed the memorandum to collaborate in the field of research at the Rectorate Building, UNISBA.
The Dean of STML, Assoc. Prof Dr Nor Hasni Osman said a total of eight Research Collaboration Agreements were signed under the MoA comprising various topics in the field of technology and operations management including waste management, renewable energy, environmental sustainability, urban development, block chain and halal certification.
He said with the memorandum sealed, he expressed hopes that research cooperation between the two countries through the two universities could be implemented more extensively through the sharing of compelling ideas.
Among the heads of researchers at STML who would be involved in this research collaboration included Dr Norsiah Hami, Dr Shafini Mohd Shafie, Dr Nurul Azita Salleh, Dr Kamal Imran Mohd Sharif, Dr Rahimi Abidin, Dr Rohafiz Sabar, Dr Salmah Omar and Dr Siti Zakiah Abu Bakar.
Also present were the Dean of the Faculty of Technique, Dr Ir. Nugraha Interview with UUM researchers and UNISBA.

UUM-UNISBA METERAI MoA BAGI JALINAN KERJASAMA DALAM BIDANG PENYELIDIKAN
UUM ONLINE: Indonesia – Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) menerusi Pusat Pengajian Pengurusan Teknologi dan Logistik (STML) telah memeterai Memorandum Perjanjian (MoA) dengan Universitas Islam Bandung (UNISBA), baru-baru ini.
UUM diwakili Penolong Naib Canselor UUM COB, Prof. Dr. Rushami Zien Yusoff dan UNISBA diwakili Timbalan Rektor, Prof. Dr. Harits Numan Djaohari menandatangani memorandum bagi menjalinkan kerjasama dalam bidang penyelidikan itu di Bangunan Rektorat, UNISBA.
Dekan STML, Prof. Madya Dr. Nor Hasni Osman berkata, sebanyak lapan perjanjian Kerjasama Penyelidikan (Research Collaboration Agreement) telah ditandatangani di bawah MoA ini dengan melibatkan pelbagai topik dalam bidang pengurusan teknologi dan operasi termasuk pengurusan sisa, tenaga boleh diperbaharui, kelestarian alam sekitar, pembangunan bandar, blockchain dan pensijilan halal.
Menurutnya, dengan termeterainya memorandum itu diharapkan kerjasama penyelidikan antara dua buah negara melalui dua universiti ini dapat dilaksanakan dengan lebih meluas melalui perkongsian idea yang lebih jitu.
Antara ketua-ketua penyelidik di STML yang terlibat dalam kerjasama penyelidikan ini ialah Dr. Norsiah Hami, Dr. Shafini Mohd Shafie, Dr. Nurul Azita Salleh, Dr. Kamal Imran Mohd Sharif, Dr. Rahimi Abidin, Dr. Rohafiz Sabar, Dr. Salmah Omar dan Dr. Siti Zakiah Abu Bakar.
